Life Insurance Rates

Basic Life Insurance

The Town offers each employee working 20 hours or more a week a basic life insurance plan.  This is a $5000/$10,000 policy, which is $1.96 a month.  The Town of Brimfield pays ½ of this amount and the employee is responsible for $.98 a month which is taken out of the first pay each month.

Voluntary Life Insurance

The Town offers each employee working 20 hours or more each week a voluntary life insurance plan.  The employee is responsible for 100% of the monthly premium.  Premiums are determined by age.  You can view the information for this plan by going to the New Employee, Health and Life Insurance page on the Treasurer’s page.
