  • Schedule of Public Meetings & Hearings:
    1. 7:00 PM – RDA: 31 Seventh Street – deck construction in buffer zone to Bank of Little Alum Pond: The Commission will review a Request for Determination of Applicability (RDA) permit application submitted by Seth Mitchell of 12 Ravena Road in Boston, MA to determine if the construction of a 10-foot by 28.5-foot deck at 31 Seventh Street in Brimfield (Assessor’s Map 5A-B-12) is subject to the Wetlands Protection Act (as amended). The work is proposed within the 100-foot buffer zone to Bank of Little Alum Pond. 
    2. 7:00 PM – NOI: DEP # 117-0397; 59 Prospect Hill Road – single family home construction: The Commission will review a Notice of Intent (NOI) permit application submitted by Green Hill Engineering c/o LBA Properties LLC of 51 Holyoke Street in Easthampton, MA to determine if the construction of a single family home, septic system, and private water supply well at 59 Prospect Hill Road in Brimfield (Assessor’s Map 12-A-26) is subject to the MA Wetlands Protection Act (as amended). Disturbance associated with the project as proposed is located within the buffer zone to Bordering Vegetated Wetlands associated with an unnamed tributary to Mountain Brook, a coldwater fisheries resource. 
    3. 7:00 PM – NOI: DEP # 117-0398; 111C Little Alum Road Road – single family home construction: The Commission will review a Notice of Intent (NOI) permit application submitted by Green Hill Engineering c/o David Penttila and Margaret Colognesi of 139 Walker Pond Road in Sturbridge, MA to determine if the construction of a single family home, septic system, private water supply well and driveway at 111C Little Alum Road in Brimfield (Assessor’s Map 5C-A-6) is subject to the MA Wetlands Protection Act (as amended). Disturbance associated with the project as proposed is located within the buffer zone to Bank of Little Alum Pond.
