Zoning Board of Appeals

THE ZBA IS NOT THE ZONING ENFORCEMENT OFFICE.  ZBA IS FOR APPEALS ONLY.  ALL BUILDING AND ZONING QUESTIONS NOT RELATED TO FILING AN APPEAL, SHOULD BE DIRECTED TO THE ZONING ENFORCEMENT OFFICER, IN THE BUILDING DEPARTMENT.

The application process can be explained by the link on the left. Determination Requests and Special Permit/Variance request forms (links on left) have been updated. All applications must include a current land survey plot plan, signed and stamped by a Licensed Massachusetts Professional Land Surveyor within 18 months of the application date.  Property lines determined by a Civil Engineer will not be accepted per MGL/Mass Scope of Practice Reg 250 CMR 5.01

Completed applications can be mailed via postal mail or dropped off at the Town Annex.  When your completed application has been received, you will be contacted. Incomplete applications will not be considered.
